Madison Blue, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Madison Blue, FNP (she/her), is a Northern Indiana local who has spent the last 9 years dedicating her career to helping people learn to love and care for their bodies. “I have always loved being able to care for others, especially when they don’t have anyone else to be their advocate,” says Madison.
Having graduated from IUSB with a B.S. (2014) and M.S. (2021) in Nursing, Blue spent her years prior to joining Mosaic as a charge nurse. In January of 2020, Blue was introduced to Mosaic as a clinical student and fell in love with the staff, space, and the patients. She was drawn to Dr. Bast and her ability to focus on each patient as an individual and not just as a diagnosis.
“She inspired me to learn how to truly respect the patients you have the privilege of caring for and to provide them with the best care possible. Dr. Bast’s passion and love for what she does is so infectious and inspiring and I feel very lucky to be working alongside her.”
Blue understands that many people have been let down by previous medical providers and she is dedicated to changing that narrative for patients so that they may feel empowered about their health and well-being.
In addition to nursing, Blue is a passionate gardener (she became a Master Gardener with the Michiana Master Gardener’s Association in 2015) and loves to spend time with her partner and their three dogs.
I truly value the importance of treating all people equally and honoring each and every patient’s story as they see it. I became a Family Nurse Practitioner because I wanted to help people of all ages and identities learn to love and care for their bodies in order to help them live long, meaningful lives.
