The Mosaic Experience
We are excited to offer The Mosaic Experience to Medical and Mental Health Providers!
We have partnered with Indiana University School of Medicine to offer continuing education credits for both medical and mental health providers who attend The Mosaic Experience. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, ANCC contact hours, and Category 1 Continuing Education Credits for Social Work by Indiana University School of Medicine.

Medical Providers
Medical providers (MD, DO, APN, RN and advanced students)
Medical Training Includes:
DAY 1
• Combined Medical and Mental Health Multi-Competency LGBTQ2IA+ training for clinical settings
• Mosaic model of care: trauma informed, harm reduction, radical kindness, informed consent
• Gender affirming hormone therapy including Mosaic Protocols and tips from our experience
• STI testing, treating, reporting
• HIV prevention and treatment (PEP and PrEP)
• Hepatitis C prevention and treatment
DAY 2
• Administrative support for caring for LGBTQ2IA+ patients
• Billing for GAHT, STI testing and treating
• Getting PrEP paid for
• 8 hours of putting care into action: shadow Mosaic providers
CONTINUED OPPORTUNITIES
• Optional additional 1/2 day of shadowing
• One scheduled zoom follow-up with Dr. Bast after the training
• Participation in "Mosaic Alumnx" resource group
• 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)
• 8.5 ANCC Contact Hours

Mental Health Providers
Behavioral health providers who work in therapeutic settings are invited to join our Director of Counseling & Mental Wellness, Jenn Faulkner-Jones MS, NCC, LMHCA, and the Mosaic team for an intensive training focused on expanding mental health care to Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender Diverse patients.
Mental Health Training Includes:
• Combined Medical and Mental Health Multi-Competency LGBTQ2IA+ training for clinical settings
• Trauma informed, whole-person care
• Informed Consent model of care
• Specialized care for traditionally marginalized populations
• Therapeutically supporting Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender Diverse patients
• Ongoing support from Mosaic providers and access to “Mosaic Alumnx” resource group
• 6.5 Category 1 CEU credits available
